My name is Andrew, I am (42 years) and I have had chronic pain in my right ankle since I sprained it playing football a few years ago. Over the last four years I have had consultations and various imaging studies for my right ankle, and opinions on treatment have varied. Finally, I was diagnosed with a cartilage defect in my ankle which would require surgery on the medial malleolus.
